The Community Collaboration for Children (CCC) consist of Supervised Visitation (SV) and Home Based Services (HBS). This is the fourth two year cycle of the CCC funds for this service and will run through June 30, 2012. CCC provides a seamless funding stream for Title IV-B Subpart 2 and Community Based Child Abuse Prevention Grant (CBCAP) funds, both federal programs. Utilizing a statewide network of regional collaborative financial support is provided for programs that aid in the prevention of child abuse and neglect.
Counties Served:
Nine counties of the Pennyrile region: Caldwell, Christian, Crittenden, Hopkins, Livingston, Lyon, Muhlenberg, Todd, and Trigg.
Eight counties of the Purchase region: Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, McCracken, and Marshall
Regional Network
The Regional Network plans the budget for the use of CCC network funds to increase community awareness and involvement in the prevention of abuse and neglect of children. Each Regional Network has the task of engaging community leaders, local, human services program providers, and parent who receive the services or are involved in the community.
Your involvement as a volunteer in the regional network in your community is welcomed since all community members are valued and have an important role in CCC.
One of the unique qualities of the CCC is the requirement of parental involvement which engages parents to work side by side with professionals. The purpose is to build parents confidence and ability to advocate for themselves and their families, and to provide an open environment in which each participant has a voice.
