The 3rd Thurday evening of every month, Dairy Queen in Elkton, is partnering with the Todd County Senior Citizens Center to raise funds in support of the center. Charlotte and other representatives of the Center are on hand to provide personal service to in-house diners and Dairy Queen graciously donates a portion of the proceeds from all sales, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, to the center. If you are in the area any of these nights, stop by Dairy Queen for dinner or ice cream, say hello and support the Senior Citizens of Todd County.
The Todd County Senior Citizens Center is now selling hand decorated 'Patriotic Pallets' as a way to raise additional funds for the center. These are recycled wooden pallets decorated by the local seniors and are priced at $25.00 each. For more information you may come by the center at 104 Morris Weathers road in Elkton, call the Senior Center at 270-265-5935 or email the Center Director, Charlotte Lyons, at email@example.com.
